My kids must really think my husband and I are stuck on stupid! But little do they know, “WE ARE NOT!” We have been there and done that. It seems that when the teacher calls, every single time it is never our kids fault! Leave it up to them it is everyone else fault including teachers, especially the teachers. We found out along time ago to never take our kids side when it comes to a matter of who’s right and who’s wrong. Most of the time, well 99.9% of the time the kids is in the wrong and need to be taken down a notch by letting them know they were wrong, that they are kids not adults, and they are to respect adults. They go to school to learn because education is key! School is not a place for kids nor adults to see who is the biggest or the baddest concerning parent-teacher nor parent-student relationships.
I always like to here the conclusion of the whole matter. There are two sides to every story rather you are young or old. To many times, so many parents take their kids side no matter what or who it is they are siding against. I believe that no matter who it is; our kids, family or friends, we should never take sides. Right is right, and wrong is wrong! Teachers need our help with our kids, but most importantly our kids need our help. Not taking their side when they are wrong will not kill them, it will just help them as well as make them be a stronger and better person in the long run. Everyone as parents have to watch their actions at all times, especially in front of kids. For every action there is a reaction. When parents act wrong, they pass on to their kids those actions, and they will just repeat those actions with their reactions! Kids learn more from us by our actions, and not what we say. It is all about what we do and how we do that counts for them. I always love to quote “Actions speak louder then words!”
